THE INTERNATIONAL COCOA AWARDS

THE INTERNATIONAL COCOA AWARDS

Awarded for the first time at the Salon du Chocolat Professionnel in 2009, the International Cocoa Awards (ICA) distinguish, in the presence of some forty farmers, cocoas of excellence depending on their origin, through a highly scientific selection and production process. Each cocoa is selected directly from farmers across the Southern hemisphere and finishes its journey at the Salon du Chocolat, prepared as a tasting chocolate following a unique protocol.

No less than 24 cocoa-producing countries have participated in 2013, with 114 samples of cocoa beans received.
